- Introduction:
BizNet enables you to search and view results
for firm stored in the BizTrak database by :
- Firm Name
- Business Description
- "Specialty Code"
(S.C.)
- "North American
Industry Classification System" Code (N.A.I.C.S.)
BizNet also allows you
to submit your firm or your subs for inclusion in the Business Directory.
You may also submit your application for DBE certification by clicking
on the hyperlink provided on the main menu.
- Main Menu:
The Main Menu is a navigational screen that directs you to
the 5 different search screens, the Add Bidder screen, and the DBE Certification
Application.
- To move to any screen,
click on the appropriately labeled button:
- Click on
to log off and exit BizNet.

Search Screens:
The Search screens display different
categories of information you can use to narrow your search of the BizTrak
database.
- The firm name search
screen provides for a search by firm name only.
- The business description
search screen provides for a search by business description and
optional Certification Status, District/County Physical Location, and County Work Location.
- The S.C. search
screen provides a search by Specialty Code, and optional Certification
Status, District/County Physical Location, and County Work Location.
- The N.A.I.C.S. search
screen is identical to the S.C. search screen with N.A.I.C.S. codes
replacing Specialty Code. It provides a search by N.A.I.C.S. codes
and optional Certification Status, District/County Physical Location, and County Work Location.
After choosing your search options from the selected search screen,
click on 
to display the search results.
At the bottom of each search screen is a navigation bar used to
change screens rather than conduct a search.
Example:

to return to main menu.
- Click on
to move to the BizNet Help area.

Business Profile Screens:
The Business Profile provides a
printable report of a firm's contact information, certification status,
and industry codes of the selected firm or vendor.

Note:
"OBE" is not a type of certification and is only a BizNet
designation for non-certified firms.
Navigation buttons
do not appear on a Business Profile when it is printed. To return
to the previous screen to select another profile to view, click your
browser's "Back" button. To return to the BizNet Main Menu
from the Profile screen, click the underlined BizNet
at the top of the report.
