Federal contracting has become a whole lot easier in the State of New Jersey due to the newly formed NJ Unified Certification Program (NJ UCP). Disadvantaged Business Enterprises now have a single certification process that allows them to compete for federally funded contracts throughout New Jersey. NJ TRANSIT, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, the Port Authority of NY/NJ, and other recipients of federal funds, have partnered to create the NJ Unified Certification Program (NJ UCP).
